It's probably the same reason why we haven't been getting Pokemon generations on the 3DS eShop for years. The reason? No idea. But if it is supposedly difficult to create GC games for the VC, then Nintendo should find some way to work around it. It's not like Nintendo needs money, but if they did release a Pokemon game on the eShop, that's easy money right there.
I just want to understand why they're not taking initiative into the successful software in the past that led up to who they are today. Again, we are still happy for all the N64 games, GBA, NES, etc.. that we have so far..
Trust that Nintendo still has a few tricks up their sleeves after Super Smash Bros. 4.
