You can't honestly be surprised that more people are hyped for a game-type that basically none of us have played before (if the promises for NMS pan out) than are hyped for a game-type that we've had before but you for some reason have missed.
edit: This seems like a case of willful ignorance (most likely) or not being able to think outside of your own opinions.
When a new Atelier is coming out that's by far my ost hyped game, but I'm not surprised that it isn't common opinion. You should treat FRN the same way.
