Musou games find their way into the bargain bins much faster than most games, many dropping ten to twenty dollars in price after just a month on the shelves, often times even more. By the holiday season it could well get a huge price cut just to get more people through the doors in hopes of getting people to buy other crap with a higher profit margin.

Nintendo games usually don't come down in price very fast, and when they do is not a big amount... for holiday 2014 I don't think we will see the game cheaper than 50 U$, maybe on holiday 2015...

That's why I said I doubt it would retain its value as long as a typical nintendo game. I have no proof of it of course, but just call it a gut feeling.
