I3LuEI3omI3eR said: They need to buy Indie devs to make them Sports games since EA won't make them. They had REALLY good SPORTS games for SNES, N64, and even the GC...
Also they REALLY need to start REMAKING a lot of their games... The Last of Us Remake for PS4 sold over 1 million COPIES and it was a Remake of an ALREADY HD GAME!!! WTF!! You think people won't buy Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, Majora's Mask, Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Metroid Prime Trilogy, and like even some of their SNES Classics like Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound remastered?? They'd make a TON of money from this... I would even say this can sway the Wii U in a positive direction by A LOT!
You cant compare a nintendo remake to a PS3 remake, a lot of gamers on PS4 hadnt PS3 so the sales were logical.
While most nintendo gamers had a GC or a Wii, so a remake wont have the same effect than TLOU ( like we saw with WW HD)
The Wind Waker is one, if not THE least favorite Zelda for fans of the series. But yet the Remake still sold over a Million copies world wide. And we are not counting Digital Downloads that came with the console.
If you can make an arguement saying that most people that bought the Last of Us Remastered didn't have PS3, you can say the same for people with Wii and Wii U's. It's like saying Sony fans aren't loyal to their consoles.
And I know PLENTLY of people who would buy remakes of both those Zelda games... Me Included.
Not sure what makes you think WW is one of the least favorite Zelda, i hear the opposite from most fans who think TP is the worst of the serie. ( and TP didnt sell so much compared to WW , at the opposite when you compare the install base of both consoles 22M vs 100M )
No, you didnt understand it seems, i said a lot of PS4 gamers had no PS3 because they were not all sony fans, only gamers, 30% were jsut people who had a 360 or a Wii, while Nintendo consoles are bought by nintendo fans and nintendo fans buy all nintendo consoles so it's logical to say the game will sell more because it wont be a new game for most of them.
But TP was a launch title, it didn't have 100 mill users to sell it with. Wind Waker was supposed to move units for the GC but failed.
WW is one of the least popular Zelda's because at the time Nintendo lied to us. They said their next generation Zelda was going to look like this:
But instead we got Wind Waker. It looks like a damn Kiddie game to this day! Lots of Zelda fans felt this was a smack to the face (including me). Even though Wind Waker was and still is a great game, I would say it's still on the bottom in terms of Zelda games. I finished it and I don't really remember it much besides it's fantastic combat system and final battle. Many of my friends that had OOT reserved a copy of WW and never picked it up... It was like 2 people out of 7 ratio in my group. It's still the least selling Zelda game that premiered first on any console (Skyward Sword and Majora's Mask were sequels and weren't the first on the Wii and N64 respectively, so I didn't include them. Plus they came out when both cycles of their consoles were at it's end).
TP was one of the reasons why people bought a Wii initially. Nobody was lining up to buy a GC for WW. Hell nobody is still lining up to buy a Wii U for WW 12 years later. Even though it did boost up sales a bit last year, but people didn't feel like its a "must have" or a"console buyer". Plus, all my friends that bought Ocarina of Time bought a Wii JUST TO PLAY TP!! ALL of them!! That's because it finally looked like that game above!!! They all loved it too! Some are still telling me to play it cause I bought it at release date and never played it!
If you ever see a remake of TP and SS, I guarantee they'll sell more. Then you will see a difference. We would love to be in a world where people don't pay attention to silly things like "this game looks kiddie" and just pay attention to the gameplay, but that's not how things work.
Sad that you and your friends judge a game by it's art style
