Brigandine is a one button game.

Actually it's not, if you disclude the digital pad, you still can't progress with a single button.  Without three buttons you can't switch your monsters around or reqcruit more monsters, making completing the game impossible.

Obvious sarcasm is obvious.  You're using the fact that it's an RPG, but Brigandine is a TRPG where there's a lot of strategy involved.  Looking at the enemies stats, not moving as far as you expected thanks to enemy positions, etc.  Even in a regular RPG you can play better if you've got a better strategy though.

I'm sure even in Final Fantasy 15 you can play better with single button combat if you have a better strategy :P.  The problem is, is FInal Fantasy 15 is now less of an RPG and more of an action game, single button combat on an action game adds even more repetition and is clearly going to involve less strategy than another action game that has multiple button inputs.

He's talking specifically about the combat of the game. You'll still need other buttons to open up menus. The whole was to not unnecessarily complicate the game. That was it.
