So, I'll just drop by and say something about whom I think the "ghost" could be. This won't have any in-depth analysis, just feeling and opinion from what I've seen thus far.
The following people could be this "ghost" character; I am removing the characters whom have claimed from this last for now, or those of whom I am getting a strong read from either way. I am however going to be including padib; for reasons I shall explain further down.
Carl (Was scanned and not revealed to be a ghost)
Cone (Was scanned, claimed to use "jetpack")
Eric
Imp
Khan (Is a shield marine, apparently)
Padib
Radish
Spurge
TheProf (Does not appear to be the ghost; however his methods make me suspicious for other reasons, the priority right now is not on pushing TheProf IMO)
Trucks (Was scanned)
WEPL (Is a shield marine, apparently)
Wonk
Wright
So who's left? Eric, Impertinance, Padib, Radish, Spurge, Wonk and Wright.
Whilst I'm not 100% sure about the whole Trucks and Radish exchange, it does at least suggest he's not the nuker. We must, ofcourse, consider the fact that said "nuker" could have a regular role and a secondary role of nuker. It is unlikely, but not considering all possibilities could be an error. Similarly he hasn't voted yet. Perhaps; the nuker is unable to vote? Or is that too much of a strecth?
Wonk to me seems too...suspicious to be the ghost if that makes sense. I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he transpires to be Mafia but that can wait another day.
Impertinance (to answer your question also, I'm a reaper which I have already mentioned) confuses me, but I think that's just his style. I would like to hear a little more from him but I'm willing to focus on other targets for now. There's more pressing matters to attend to and this is something we cannot forget.
This leaves us with EricFabian, padib, Spurge and Wright. I'll go into them a little more, now.
EricFabian - My opinions on Eric are well known. He's detrimental to town, if he is town, and he hasn't really been contributing. I don't feel like he's Mafia because they wouldn't let him play like this. They'd have told him to post more, and more consistently. Similarly however, he's not really contributing overly to assisting town, which again bothers me. The number of times I, and others, have advised him to contribute more and the number of times he's promised to share his more in-depth thoughts is worryingly high, and yet there's still no real signs of activity. Is he hiding in the shadows as he is the nuker? I'm not sure, but he's worth considering.
padib - I'm not here to claim what he's shared so far is incorrect. My concern is he's almost "stringing people along" and this latest move about revealing whom the ghost is is most concerning. Let's consider one possibility for now. Let's say padib claims I'm the ghost. I get lynched, flip Reaper and then people realize padib was lying. Obviously he'd be the target for the next day, but what if he has protection for one day from a lynch too? He survives, turns out he's the nuke and he wins because we're putting too much trust in him.
There's just...something that unsettles me about him. Why does he have so many powers, so much protection? Looking through his exchanges concerns me and he should not be ignored.
Wright - From the get go Wright has been my main suspect, from the PM debacle to the pushing for nuke questions etc., but today I'm not so sure. He claims to be a scientist, in space, which would explain his PM debacle and he could honestly just be overenthusiastic about the whole thing. I'm willing to trust Wright, to an extent. His claim seems to be solid and hasn't been counter-claimed yet, and it follows the lore of the series nicely too. There's either been a lot of work put into a false claim, or he is honestly telling the truth. For now, I'm willing to believe the latter but I'm not overly sure. Suspicion doesn't just disappear!
So, that leaves Spurgeonryan, and he is my suspect for the bomber. Very evasive and non-commital, some shady play and this latest claim to scan me seems like a waste of time. Scanning one of the above three, or even Radish, would be a better use of time if he can scan (particularly as I was scanned by theProf last night, if he is to be believed. But I do, because it all aligns well) if you ask me. Spurge has yet to do anything to convince me he isn't the bomb, which the above three have to an extent at least. Lots of "wait until tomorrow" and other delay tactics. I'd like to hear why you aren't this nuker, Spurge. But until then;
Vote - Spurgeonryan
