Other weeks, it's getting thumped by 2-1 by the 360. What I am saying is - you'll see more PS3 sales but what if the attach numbers are staying the same? Don't forget - some folks buying the games were already PS3 owners too. If you don't believe me about the Blu sales, look at the rising number of Blu movie sales. And I don't have numbers, the PS3 is the best value. I would be hard pressed to see data that states folks are buying PS3s and tons of games. |
Actually I looked at the software sales for each week, and I saw that there was a pretty consistent ratio of 1.5 to 1, software sales for 360 to PS3, which goes along well with the install base ratio of the two. This ratio only seemed to show a drastic change based on new releases for one or the other console.
