I don't know why, but PS2 have broke the peak in 2002... and the funny fact is that in 2006(the year of PS3 resaled) have sold more than the 2003, 2004, and 2005.
Very strange. 
If PS4 the third year, will sell more than the second year, i think that will close th PS2 number.
Will sell probabily 20,000,000 next year, so, will must sell 21-22M in 2016.
With FF XV resaaled in Japan, one good price drop, and other games in west, will probabily happen.

Too early to try to predict 2016 as we don't even know the games that will come out that year, but I think it will be the same as the PS2, with the peak in 2015 and a little less in 2016, because 2015 is so filled with great games already that I find hard to it to perform that well again next year, but who knows, what if SE slap us in the face with FF15 coming only in 2016, that can make 2016 >2015 with some other good stuff comming (don't know what).
