I wouldn't use Brawl for training! Why? Well, Smash Bros WiiU is much faster than Brawl and certain things like the ledge mechanics have been changed!

Isn't just ledge mechanics or speed, some technics that were in brawl are gone. This game probably has new technics so the best thing is to play the 3DS one, which is closer to how the Wii U version will play. Don't get me wrong there is a lot stuff in Brawl, but you cant use it on SSB4 or Melee, same if you play Melee you cant use some stuff in Brawl. I give you an example I train with Melee for Brawl, I am the best at Melee, we all know that Brawl is so different so I may play good but I will probably be better in Project M which is the closes game to Melee.
