| *Sound Of Rain said: Xbox One will take 2nd place easily. How people can't see this is beyond me. It deserves to take 2nd as well. Wii U > XBO for me but Wii U doesn't really deserve much success. It was handled terribly and gets like 15 games a year. Even if those 15 were amazing, it can't ever have the diversity that the XBO will have. Once the games start coming, Wii U will be passed. It's inevitable. |
Pretty much. There are still things that could, theoretically, delay the inevitable for a while though, if they are a success - particularly amiibos and Mario Maker. But even if the WiiU could manage to stay ahead past 2015 (hypothetically speaking), the XB1 would still sell more in the end simply because it will be on the market longer before a successor arrives.
I still maintain that WiiU is a better "second console" for many gamers because its offerings are unique and exclusive (unless, of course, you aren't interested at all in any of those offerings), but for someone who isn't a big Ninty fan or is just not interested in owning more than one system, it's impossible to deny the overwhelming number or games releasing on the PS4/XB1.
