It's always amusing to see someone whom, instead of writing about the true dynamics of a market, they just state their personal opinion and conclude the market is wrong/delusional/hallucinating/whatever.

I'd say that gaming is so much a part of many people's lives that many buy new consoles even if the change is more evolutionary than revolutionary.

More revolutionary change (which is successful) like the Wii is rare and not to be expected on a regular basis. In this generation gamers are showing they are hungry for new consoles, and choosing a conventional console done well and rejecting half baked novelties.
