Oh and you of course know the whole situation, right? Nope you don't, you're just pulling assumptions out of your ass.
What we know is that Team ICO hasn't released a game since 2005, that is it, we have no idea in what capacity Team ICO members have been involved in other SCE Japan projects, but hey just act like everything's gonna be peachy for the team that didn't manage to ship a game in almost 9 years now.
I'm sure Sony will just let them start their next project without questions...
