Face it everybody. There isnt enough money in sports game, sims and fantasy. Licensing is probably expensive so sims are expensive. MLB isnt big enough for any company to try making baseball sims other than Sony(hasent cracked 1M per game), and its probably more of a loss leader than anything. NHL only sells 1M max a year and doenst have a competitor because of it. NFL locked up. FIFA 2 good competitors. NBA does well but apparantly not well enough to be free on PSN(note:not an insult, just saying big sellers dont go on so soon to digital services). Other niche sports wont sell better.

Onto fantasy sports. We havent had a console Mario Golf since before the inception of the Wiimote. Think about that for a second. The perfect virtual golf controller that had like 20 golf games(last gen mostly shovelware). Im personally okay with Nintendo characters taking the helm in fantasy sports(Mario, DK, throw in Samus, a Fire Emblem guy, Bayonetta, or anyone else for cross promotion). Mario Hoops did 1.3M, not huge. Mario Baseball franchise did less than 2.per game. Stirkers did around 1.6 and 2.5 repecttively. I dont know what Nintendo wants from these games. Its apparantly not worth it for Nintendo, though I would welcome some cheap digital rehashes of the games if they truly arent worth it.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
