Right, because that is totally the prevailing attitude on the internet!

Critically the game didn't even approach expectations. A horrendous game? No.

But nothing like what those hundreds of thousands of people were expecting!

I never understand posts like this.

The game had an Alpha, people played. The game had a closed beta, people played. They had an open beta, people played.

Game releases and has HUGE numbers.

People must have liked what they played.

One of the most common complaints is a lack of content - empty spaces, insufficient/poor story.

None of that would show up in an Alpha or Beta.

Good thing the storyline isn't important for this game. The meat is in the co-op Strikes, Heroic weekly strikes, Raids, Crucible matches, farming for loot, playing with friends, etc...

Just like how people don't play Diablo for the storyline. They play for loot. In this game you not only gain loot, but that loot needs to be used in order to gain EXP and level up themselves. It has PLENTY to do and it will only grow from here.

What's I don't like though is that you personally have zero experience with the game, meanwhile continue to spread negativity as if your opinion carries weight. You are mearly repeating the opinions you choose to latch onto without any realworld experience of your own. Unfortunately you chose to latch onto the negative, even though the positive opinions far outweight them.

It's not very flattering for one in your position. I meant this in a constructive critism sort of way.

Except that bungie made none of that clear before launch. I expected a story and a good campaign. When I found out it didn't have those things, i returned my copy unopened. I don't need to play it to know that farming for rubbish is a complete and utter waste of time. How anyone can consider that entertainment is mind boggling.
