The thing is the general public don't know its sub par.  They just buy games so even if the core gamers voted with their wallet there is enough noobs and parents buying this shit for their kids to negative the poor effort.

I suppose I should have said no win for 'core' gamers. It is likely true that the majority of people who will buy this either don't know the difference or don't care.
