Mario Kart done bloody well though and Wii U will probably not drop back to pre MK8 levels anytime soon. People were just a bit nuts for thinking that the MK8 bump would last forever and enable the system to continually outsell the X1 after the summer slum. 

Yeah, thinking that it would keep outselling the One forever was a pipe dream.  Getting such a boost just from MK8 bodes better than a lot of skeptics would believe though, in my opinion.  It's just another frigging Marko Kart game, but it was still able to move a lot of units.  Smash should be another boost (possibly a considerably larger one, at that), then next year we've got Zelda and potential price drops to bolster sales.  People will call me a fool, but I can still see Wii U performing solidly.

Well, Bayonetta 2, Zeda U, Hyrule Warriors (a bit), Xenoblade X and Super Smash Bros might help just do that.

Especially consireding the fact that SSB WiiU is likely to be released for the Holiday Season. Gonna sell like hotcakes.
