@Bold This limitation doesn't persist anymore with newer hardware ... Although there maybe some issues of memory consumption and bandwdith constraints of what I'm about to describe with DX10 giving pixel shaders access to a render target it's possible to apply anti aliasing with deferred rendering so that can't be the reason why there isn't AA in MK8 or Bayonetta 2.
