If you're referring to using hourly data as a basis for long time analysis then we disagree.


of course not in long term, but is good to measure buyers trend towards deals.

for example if sony or ms announce a deal for a day the only place u could measure the success is on amazon

For that you have the daily archives. And even if not you can see daily bursts quite well on monthly charts.

The hourly rankings fluctuate so much that they're just garbage.
