I'm a core gamer and Destiny in no way, shape or form would lead to me buying a next gen console. Wait until MCC and the next COD for that disapproval.

What? Where did I say anything about Destiny being a reason to upgrade. We are talking about copies of the Destiny game sold on the next generation consoles. 

I agree that Destiny isn't a reason to upgrade (I just didn't 'get' the game when I played the Alpha and Beta).
