Wow. Never heard of any press releases that explicitly said so. I expected 720/60, like any other Nintendo title on the system.

Still, this game seems like it needs a solid 60 all throughout, and they nearly got that coming for them. If it maintains its speed, and not smoothness, it's fine. A few dropped frames won't affect gameplay as much as the entire game world bizarrely slowing down for a split-second.
