Nintendo magic? what is that actually? What would be wrong with a realistic Zelda? and I'm not saying Nintendo doesn't have a online network, I'm saying the network they currently have is a joke compared to PSN, XBL, and STEAM etc.....

I guess this closes off the argument. Each sentence here clearly shows you've no idea what makes Nintendo and their games special. I might be totally wrong, but based on this post it really sounds like you haven't played too much of their games in quite a long time.

Otherwise, you would know what Nintendo magic is and what's so wrong with a realistic Zelda. And yes, I do get that you're saying Nintendo Network is a joke compared to the other ones, but as I previously said, they're not PC wannabes like Xbox and PlayStation - their network works just fine for what the Wii U is (granted, not as useful on the 3DS).

Well I've never owned a Nintendo console and I've only owned a 3DS/ DS for a short while. So no I don't know what this supposed "Nintendo magic" is. Is it some sort of made up thing Nintendo fans use to justify Nintendo's lack of moving on from the 90's?

Nintendo magic is akin to what makes Disney so special for people all over the world. Its just translated to videogames. Sony and Microsoft cannot capture this because they do not aim to get into the imaginations of children and families everywhere. Nintendo does this in spades because its always been their goal. No one should buy them, but MS should be the last company to buy them on the list. It takes a massive amount of creative input and intent to own Nintendo because they dont just work to pump out products but deliver the best one possible and dont put constraints of time like MS to do it. Sony's developmental style is more akin to universal studios and also similar to Sony pictures.
