I honestly expected a bigger bump for XB1. I was one of the biggest XB1 critics, but when they made all those changes before launch, I started to watch them again. Then they made a kinectless sku, and last but not least gave away a free game? I jumped at that (Madden bundle), fully taking advantage of the situation.

Where did the 360 fans go? MS needs to come up with an official upgrade program with all retailers that accept trade-ins, and motivate 360 owners to upgrade. The longer MS waits, its going to continue being a slaughter by PS4, because that's where the community (friends, family, etc) is.

Ms didn't lose any of their fans once youre a fan you are a fan unless Xbox one loses developer support which they have not.

The Xbox One is doing fine as I have been saying for a while now.

September October November and december is Xbox time. I see big numbers coming.

I wonder though is this the first week in months the xbox one has outsold the ps4 in america.

I predict the month of november when call of duty comes out xbox one will outsell the ps4 in america.

They did lose a lot of fans. Sony even has data showing that PS4 owners are about 1/3 coming from Xbox 360.

You have to try and look at this with a fresh new perspective, last-gen rules don't apply here. You can't assume XB1 will win the holidays like the 360 used to. Things have changed and the odds are in Sony's favor.

Microsoft does have 2 advantages in November and that's the Halo Collection and COD bundle. We still don't know Sony's holiday strategy, they might just get by on pure momentum.

OT: Madden provided a decent boost this week. Let's see if it can hold up a new baseline from now on. I dont' see the XB1 dropping to the 50k levels any time soon. 100k+ from now on.
