Why would it? Ghosts sold just a bit less on the PS4 (when the install bases were much closer) and everything else, including Madden (which had a bundle), has done better on the PS4. No reason to expect AW to be any different, especially not when things are as lop-sided as they now are (the PS4 will probably have, at least, a 1 million unit lead in the US by November). OT: I predict you will be correct. |
Yep, anyone who believes that COD:AW will sell more on XB1 are in for a shock.
COD:Ghosts sold nearly equally between PS4 and XB1 (PS4 version was tied/ahead for a while as well) BECAUSE :
(1)- Most of the sales occured near the release date when the install base was basically identical.
and
(2)- The XB1 version has been heavily discounted for a long time, making it a cheap purchase during the months of not much else available.
Examples :
Amazon : $21.69 vs. $53.69 (XB1 version chopped to less than half the PS4 price!)
More cheap XB1 Ghosts :
$23.49 Target
$21.69 Walmart
$29.99 Microsoft
