If they wanted to pull Minecraft on PS4/3 tuesday, I'm sure they could. Depends on the deal MS make with Mojang but effectively, what can Sony do?

We've certainly had games taken down before due to buyouts (Midway, THQ ect).

Playstation will not be a huge driver of Minecraft sales imo, so they should pull it and advertise it as XB1/360/PC/Mobile exclusive.

I think what we'll see is MS pulling the game from digital store fronts, haulting production of any discs and then creating an Xbone Mincraft bundle. I think the bundle will be Mincraft themed on the box with a HUGE "Only available for Xbox One" logo slapped on.

I don't think they're paying 2.5 billion for Minecraft but rather the sequel. We'll probably hear about it at E3. They know every kid in the world is now going to buy an Xbone for Christmas. It's a total win imo.
