Mediocre? Huh, I clearly have to update my vocabulary when a game such as Destiny is called mediocre.

More importantly, you are arguing for MS' financial decision here with some form of subjective "quality" argument that doesn't matter at all in business. Destiny will cost about $500m with everything included (years down the line) and it will profit in a number of days. This acquisition by MS won't turn a profit for years and years.

Yeah and I'm saying it's not. Besides, even if you think it is, there is a good chance that at least one or more of those 20 new IPs would be good...
