No people buy HDTV's in Europe and Australia mainly to watch sports and PS3 consoles.

Why not X360. They are both HD consoles and right now there are more 360's in others than PS3. So if HD tv's are selling more I would guess more would be used for 360, IMO.

 

All the "hddvd is dead BR won PS3 has it" news and of course BRs success in Europe, thats why not a 360.

Op iam sure it hepled the PS3, its a overall strategy for Sony corp as a whole. BraviaHDtvs/BluRay/Playstation3 all 3 are connected and all 3 are a huge part of Sonys business. Success in one will help the other, they then slefs have pushed it with TV/PS3 bundles.
