- Console A and B both sell 10M in 12 months.
- Console A sells 2M in 1st month. It will have to sell 727k/month for the remaining 11 months to reach 10M.
- Console B sells 6M in 1st month. It will have to sell 363k/month for remaining 11 months to get to 10M.
Do you get it now????? Cause one console sells less monthly doesn't mean that it hasn't, doesn't or wouldn't sell significantly more over a set short few month(s) to still outsell something else that sold higher on average. This is what it means to be front/seasonal loaded. And is exactly how the PS4 has been selling when compared to the PS2.
