I am going to be real here ...

The PS4 isn't exactly what I envisioned it's performance to be since it's falling below expectations of how a market leader should be performing.

Sub 250K in North America for some months isn't "ideal" for a leading console. Perhaps just accomplishing the right moves isn't enough to muster up to the standards.

Sony is going to need to do something about this ...

I think the sale paterns have change because of last gen, instead of seeing console peak at the 3 or 4 year mark we will see them peak on year 5 or 6 I fully expect that for the ps4 and X1 ( that's why the ps4 will stay on the lower part of the curve a bit longer than the ps2 but come years 5 and 6 it should be doing better comparatively ofcourse ( not saying the ps4 is gong to outsell the ps2)). Also times have changed, why buy your console during the summer when you can wait a few more months and take advantage of the crasy black friday, cyber monday deals or even boxing day deals. Yes i know those sales were there back in the ps2 era but back then retailers were not as agressive with their prices and boxing day was actualy just one day not a whole week or month

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.
