The 3ds and the soon to be new 3ds says hi......just like Sony has the playstation vita  doing poorly nintendo has the wii u not doing as well but if you really look at Nintendos position they are second in the console race and first in handhelds andmaking a profit off every wii u sold nowadays ..they have smash coming out on both systems nintendo is not in as bad shape as people make it out to be just saying ...they will be alright and turn a profit as usual at the end of the generation 

The 3DS is doing well for the moment, yes, but it's the last of its breed; there's no future for dedicated handhelds beyond this gen. The home console business holds Nintendo's real hope of long term survival, but to compete in this sector they need to aggressively grow their userbase, and the only way to do that is to serve the demands of the consumer instead of their own whims.


How do you figure it's last of its breed by the time it stops selling it may be at 70 or 80 million or more  that's not a last of its breed ...no your wrong Nintendos dominance in the handheld market is where there bread and butter is at ....yes this generation they are not lighting up like the wii but at the end of the day ...which almost everyone forgets nintendo makes a profit ...no home console they ever produced has made a loss and wii u will be profitable at the end of the generation that is almost certain ....nintendo does not worry about finishing first or last as long as they make a profit and keep shareholders happy ..people fall to realize you can't win alll the generations you do well some generations some you don't
