Whether they did the best they could remains to be seen though. They didn't with Blacklist or AC4.

I don't have unreasonable expectations, I'm not talking about a ground-up Wii U engine or exclusive gameplay content or anything, all I ask for is a decent framerate.

What is the problem with Blacklist?, I play it and had a lot of fun with it, good controls, good gamepad integration, nice plot even if it was kind on simplistic, a lot of variety, even the online worked fine for me, only had 2 crashes during all my play time, and that is it, sure is not a perfect game and the couch co-op was missing, but taking into account the amount of time they had to make that port, I will argue that is a very good one.

In my experience people usually does their best effort within the project limitations. How much time and manpower did they had to port those games you mentioned? I don't know exactly but I do know it was short and low, yet in both cases the games can be enjoyed and you can have a lot of fun, and both are great additions to your collection if your console of choice is a Wii U.

Only the framereate is your concern in Watch_dogs? what is a "decent" framerate for you? because all the versions have drops and are not locked...
