While that may be true, it still makes the NFL more synonymous with MS than Sony or Nintendo.  They also had a deal with EA for exclusive advertising, which was probably another multimillion deal.  Either way, both deals haven't really done anything for MS.

Yep. On Football Sundays, you'll see the X1 a lot during commerical breaks. Too bad it did not help the X1 at all.....

You saying that reminds me of the week the One launched.  I watch Comedy Central quite a bit, and man, did they advertize.  EVERY single commercial break had a One ad, sometimes two.  AND almost every show was being sponsered by them, so they were doing little vinettes on some commercial breaks.  It was a classic case of overkill.  If I was on the fence about which one to get, that definitely would have turned me off.  Overkill on advertising always turns me off of a product.
