XBox One is the cheapest one, the kinectless version can be found by R$1399 (around U$600) and the version with kinect + a game can be found by R$1699 (around U$750), though these are not the prices sugested by Microsoft (it would be R$1599 and R$1999 if it was MS price). XOne is the only current gen console that is made in Brazil.
Wii U official price is R$1899, although retailers sell it for prices between R$1399 and R$1699 generally.
PS4 official price is the funiest... It is sold by Sony for ONLY R$3999 (almost U$1800!), although almost nobody buys it from official retailers, and even they sell it for prices like R$2000 to R$2500.
Games are not that expensive. 8th gen games princes go from R$99 (U$45, few games lauched at this price here, that I remember now, only the last MGS and some random PS4 game) to R$199 (U$85) for new games, although most new games are prices are from R$179 to R$199. For example, I pre ordered DK:TF for R$140 and MK8 for R$170, which is not that bad. TLOU:R came out for R$149 and a few days later could be found for R$129. Older games that are not that old go from R$49 to R$129 and really old games (2 years +) can be found from R$19 to R$49.
Overall, we pay a lot more for consoles and 20% to 30% more for games. Almost nobody pays the sugested prices for console though, since its easy to find imports and retailers often sell them for less. It's almost the same thing for handhelds.
