@ sc94597 Does using a Freeloader void your warranty, or did i misunderstand you? If it's the same as the Cube one then it's totally software based, doesn't install anything on your system and there'd be no way for Nintendo to know that you used it.

I used Freeloader with my Gamecube, not only to get games earlier but it was the only way to get 480p with a PAL Gamecube. I don't really see how's it cheating, I"m sorry but if NOE and NOA(ust) don't want to give us the same product at a reasonable price then I'll take my business over the Pacific.

Well if it installs something to unlock the region lock then yes it will change software settings , and it will void warranty. If it just loads in the ram then maybe not. I haven't used one so I don't know how it works.

I can't speak for the Wii version per se but considering the Gamecube Freeloader worked on it until some of the first firmware updates blocked it, i assume it works the same.  All i know is that when you pushed reset on the system you had to reboot again with the Freeloader before putting your game disc back in the system.  This strongly suggests there is no change to the system settings.
