So have you guys changed your mind with DLC for Smash Bros. after Mario Kart 8's dlc model?

Well, the Mario Kart DLC I'm still not 100% sure about, but the more I think about it, the more I like it. Link's inclusion doesn't seem to fit, but Villager and Isabelle blend in incredibly well. And the DLC tracks look amazingly fun.

As for Smash, I want Ice Climbers assuming the rumors are true in that they aren't in the original release. Otherwise, Nintendo can do whatever for under $15 and I would probably get it, especially if it's as good of a deal as Mario Kart's DLC.

I think I like the Mario Kart DLC price because they cleverly put the price for one pack but then showed the price for both packs which was so much better. That was really brilliant marketing. And the fact that I got Mario Kart for 48$ on Amazon and 5$ of eshop credit from the digital deluxe program made it no brainer for me to download 50% more courses and etc for only 7$

I would love if all the cut characters put in past Smash to be added in Wii U and 3DS game since Sakurai already made these characters before so balancing wouldn't be TOO bad.

Also, I think people underestimate what sort of DLC smash bros can have. There were some game modes dropped like character specific target smash, different multiman melee skins, and ADVENTURE MODE. There can also be new items like additional assist trophies or Pokemon characters or, again, past items like the invisibility cloak, flippers, red shells, and etc. Hell Smash Bro team can even add more event modes and alternative character colors/skins. In fact, I expect a pre-order DLC bonus of alternative colors or skins for the fighters similar to Hyrule warriors since locked alternative colors/skins don't change gameplay experience too much and generate more pre-orders.
