I second Solomons Key. This is a innovative game with nice mixture between action and puzzle solving.
Theres a accomplishment satisfaction after beating each stage. One of the few NES titles that justifies $5.
I'm pretty sure people are looking more for good legacy games than old mario games played to death.
crappy old school NES games are more entertaining than next-gen games.
