You are correct Stever89, however we dont know if the increased sales on the second ps2 monster hunter was due to the psp popularity or increased advertising or other factors such as a improved game.
But assuming the psp versions are the main cause of the 2nd version on the ps2 doubling in sales then you will assume the wii version will do better then previous ps2 versions however no one knows if it will have success to rival that of the psp yet.
I think this is what people are mainly debating, not wether it will do better then the ps2 but wether it will do better then the psp one considering wii popularity and a increasingly popular franchise.
