I used to be like that in middle school and high school, when I swore up and down that my N64 was better than someone else PS1. Then I got a PS1 and was like "Wow, I was dumb. This thing is fucking awesome!"

 

 

For the adults, well, I have no idea what their excuse is.

Interestingly enough, most of the adults act just as bad, if not worse. Just look at everything happening with Destiny, for example. While many praise it, from both the Xbox and PlayStation camps, you can practically feel the bitterness towards its lack of exclusivity from some folks. 

If it wasn't so sad to watch, you could almost chuckle at it.

Agreed, which is why I have no idea what the excuse is.
