Does free Next-Gen Destiny upgrade benefit the X1 in North America?

I was thinking about this. Since the X360 has a huge sales advtange over the PS3 in North America will these free next-gen promo for Destiny possibly push X1 sales?

This will be advertisied heavily on the X360 home screen I am sure. Will this be the "push" that some X360 owners need to pick a console this Hoiday?

Should be interesting. Wonder if we will ever get redepmtion results from Bungie on this.
