I was thinking about this. Since the X360 has a huge sales advtange over the PS3 in North America will these free next-gen promo for Destiny possibly push X1 sales?

This will be advertisied heavily on the X360 home screen I am sure. Will this be the "push" that some X360 owners need to pick a console this Hoiday?

Should be interesting. Wonder if we will ever get redepmtion results from Bungie on this.

For hardcore 360 Destiny players, sure.

Other than that, not really. Most people are just going to stick with their consoles, and unless they upgrade within the next 3-4 months, the deal means nothing to them.

I don't expect much of a boost. Plus they only have till January to upgrade to an X1.

They are already giving away a free game (which could be Destiny) with the purchase of the XB1...dont think it will make much difference.

Not the same thing at all.. You are talking about people who buy an X1 this week get a free game..   I am talking people who buy it on X360.. then they can redeem the FREE copy of Destiny on X1 (Same for PS3 to PS4) by Jan 15th..   That is why I said "this holiday"...
