Why did Nintendo turnaround ?

Nitty has been losing market shares since the N64.

Then they come out with the Wii (Cube 1.5) and the market shares
will go up by 500%. Was it the low price of the Wii vs the high
price of the PS3 or going after the Casual market ?

 

If that was true, the gamecube would have sold more.

They released a console that captured the imagination of millions of people.
