If I would be a journalist one is for sure, games where I can't release a review at least short before release would never get a bonus from me ( I hope I would never give a bonus for any game but well). I mean, releasing a review when half of Destiny's customers bought the game already doesn't really help a site to get the clicks so that I would also not see a reason to help a game with my score^^
Not sure if magazines/sites realized that this is exactly what some developers do, they take for many the need to read a review when they buy the game before the review is released.
Sure, reviews are probably more important for people who don#t buy a game day one but it will be still a factor for at least a few people.
