No doubt, though we'll see how software splits and adoptions go. In Japan, in general, I am not optimistic of any of the home consoles. The only home console I see doing well is the hybrid system Nintendo is planning as that will tap (and possibly enhance) the strong handheld market but that's not this generation. I don't see the PS4 doing much of anything other than eventually taking the ever slowly declining PS3 sales into itself, and probably doing WiiU numbers more or less consistently. (Obviously spiking with big releases.)
Unless software adoption proves bad for the home console as I suspect budgets will also increase with the transition from PS3 to PS4... Sony's usual crutch developers that have kept their neglected platforms alive may completely shift to greener pastures.
