I like how you ignore that it's Activision bringing this franchise to the Wii U (and not Nintendo). IP owners of Guitar Hero, whom have experience in this field. It's better to have some people who actually specialized in creating this sort of game working on it other than DLC for CoD that is as disappointing as Ghost. But I guess you don't know that Activision has multiple IPs. I wouldn't even be surprised if they made a new Crash Bandicoot and made it Wii U exclusive because of Crash's kid friendly flavour.
I suggest you look in to Activision's IPs. Many of the classics that people want on their "hardcore" consoles are completely kid orientated games
