There are a LOT of people, even on here, that said they would never touch a Nintendo console after the Wii and it isn't because of the motion controls. There were AMAZING games on the Wii, but even I can't say it wasn't flooded with absolute garbage.

The bottom statement is exactly what Iwata is hoping for. Sales that positively effect the short term while sacrificing the longterm perception of the company. This will only serve to alienate themselves further from the core audience next gen.

Attracting hardcore gamers it's a lost cause for Nintendo no matter what they do that's why they should attract casuals gamers ,playstation can't attract casuals gamers that's why they support hardcore gamers.
