I am completely aware of that but an install base can always grow and smash bros. is a really big game. The Wii's install base was kind of misleading because an overwhelming majority of those owners were casual gamers that didn't even bother with the smash bros series. So it's not totally unlikely that in its entire lifetime that smash will sell 12.24 million+ Though in hindsight I realize I spoke too soon and my prediction is really big but it's not inconceivable and I think at least it could reach 8 million lifetime. I mean, look at melee, it was released like a month within the gamecube's release and the gamecube's install base at the time was worse than what the wii u is right now and it's lifetime sales are 7.07 mil with a system that only sold 21.74 mil lifetime.
Nope, no, definitely not. Just ignore my insanely optimistic and naive opinion please, thank you
