Yeah, he's mentioned MK8 on his show before.
Jimmy Fallon really is a true gamer; back when the Other Ocean game "Dark Void Zero" was nothing more than an April Fool's joke (an NES game that never existed), Jimmy Fallon conspired with them on a fictional story where he supposedly won a Capcom contest when he was young and had his name featured in the game.
Supposedly, Fallon's been just as intrigued by games as much as comedy. Pretty cool.
