Of course its a perfectly good example. EA Access is a competitor to PS+ and PS Now Subscription services, they are gaming subscription/rental services...if you cannot see that, then I cant really help you. It's pretty obvious.
It is not anti-consumer, you are wrong. Sorry it's as simple as that. You are thinking from a position of a gamer who wants the service on the platform and not as a business who are free to make a decision on what they offer to the customer. You think just because someone wants something, they should get it....that's not how life works I'm afraid. You are going to be very disappointed in life if that's how you think things work.
The bread example is poor. You can still buy bread, just not a particular type of bread. I.E I can still play FIFA, Need for Speed by buying the digital or disc versions. It's still available but in a different method of delivery.

But.... I was always told that EA Access and PS Now were nothing alike and can't be compared?
Yes, I do want the service on PS4. I do want Sony to change their minds, what I have issue with is those praising Sony for it. That is pretty much saying 'because I don't like it, no one else should be able to have it either'. To be fair, they did also get quite a bit of flak from Sony fans for it as well, so props to those people.

Well that's not something I've heard from the majority of Sony users... so I don't know who these people who are telling you that are..lol.
I dont want the EA service, but if it means that PSNow becomes more affordable for users then thats a positive result of it all.
