Isn't that up to consumers though? Isn't Sony not allowing the option to take the service or not anti-consumer?

Of course it's not anti consumer. This is what was going round the internet when Sony said they werent going to do it, and it's a stupid claim.. 

Should Ford put in adverts to sell other makes of cars. Perhaps Tesco should sell items from Aldi...because it must be anti consumer for them to sell only their store brand  products. Perhaps games companies shouldnt just try to make and sell their own products, they should try and get money for other companies also. I dont have access to XBOX Gold on PS4, that much be anti consumer right... 

Sony can put whatever they like on their service, you could say EA access is now a competitor in the same market place... but regardless of being a competitor product its totally upto sony if they want that on their console or not..... 

So why would it be upto the consumers... just think about what you are saying for a moment. This is business, in very very few businesses the consumer is making decisions, they might choose a product to buy, they dont actually have the power to make a company make decisions on what services they have access to.
