Can there even be a minecraft knockoff when minecraft itself is a knockoff of

Infiniminer(2009)                                                                     and Blockland(2007)?

I have Cubemen 1 on steam but never even played it. From the trailers I dont even seem to  understand what is happening in the game rofl :)
