Looking from it from an unbiased POV the only thing PS4 has over XB1 is the slight power advantage. That doesn't automatically mean everyone will get a PS4 because of that advantage, because if they have friends on Xbox One, if they want to stay in the Xbox eco system, like the exclusives, like the System OS ect, that is all far more sway worthy than PS4 being a bit more powerful.

One little correction here, it is by no means 50/50 in the US. Using VGC numbers it is more like 44/56 in the PS4s favor. That's a solid and growing margin.

Of course there are reasons for someone to buy the Xbox One over the PS4, but that ever growing gap is going to make it harder and harder down the road.
